Astrium adquiere una participación mayoritaria en Spot Image

El Grupo Infoterra y Spot Image trabajarán conjuntamente formando parte de la División de Observación de la Tierra de Astrium Services.

Astrium, la compañía líder del sector espacial europeo, ha anunciado la compra de acciones adicionales en Spot Image procedentes del organismo oficial espacial francés, CNES. Se trata de una importante operación cuyo resultado es que Astrium va a poseer el 81% de Spot Image, convirtiéndose por consiguiente en su accionista mayoritario.

TerraSAR-X Archive-to-Go

Easy Access to TerraSAR Archive Data: footprint of archived scenes downloadable for review and ordering.

Infoterra has now installed an opportunity for customers to conveniently review the TerraSAR-X acquisitions available in the archive. The so-called Archive-to-Go provides an overview of all acquisitions in Shapefile Format. The full archive is available for download, and can be browsed with any standard GIS Software. From this archive, imagery can be selected, the corresponding footprint extracted, and an order be placed with Infoterra's Customer Service Team.
The Archive-to-Go will be updated regulary and grow significantly as more and more imagery is acquired and added. Imagery from the archive is significantly cheaper than new TerraSAR-X acquisitions - an attractive option for numerous applications.
